Hey, thanks for stopping by!
I’m Kyle Laporte, a research associate at Queen’s University. I specialize in the innovative use of digital visualization in the geosciences, with a focus on geospatial visualization, geotechnical engineering, and user-centric design.
I’ve worked on a variety of professional and personal projects, from rockfall fragmentation visualizations in Unity to stylized point cloud animations in Blender.
I really enjoy self-teaching and learning new tools and techniques, and finding ways to use tools I’m familiar with in new ways. Feel free to check out my portfolio!
